Healdsburg is served by the Healdsburg Unified School District, which offers a challenging and enriching curriculum based on the California State Academic Standards. HUSD achieved a Base API Score of 714 in 2006. There are two elementary schools, one junior high school, one high school and one alternative high school. Also available are a parochial school (pre-school), a Christian Academy (grades 9-12), pre-schools and day care centers.
